Terry arrived in the valley with her family when she was a child, and grew up right next door to the Salon at it's current location. She has been a stylist for 43 years, and “just always knew” that she was born to be a hairdresser. Clearly this is a business that she loves. Terry attended beauty school in between her Jr. and Sr. years of high school, graduating from both schools at the same time.

Terry started her career at the Swiss Salon at a time when dresses were mandatory and strict procedural guidelines were in place. After bucking heads with the owners for some time, she convinced them to sell the salon to her. Business flourished so much that they soon needed to expand, so Terry purchased a piece of land from her mother on 13th Street and built the present-day salon.

You will feel better immediately” Although I have been at the Swiss Salon for 43 years, it feels like five instead – I love it that much! I truly have a passion for making people happy, and after all these years, I still love my work!

Born and raised in Clarkston, LynnDee now lives in Asotin with her husband and children. She loves living in the LC Valley for its great outdoor activities, and because her family is also here. And she is one of the lucky people who love their job. LynDee specializes in custom color, alternative cutting, new styles and special occasion styling.

"We may not have it all together, but together we have it all! Not many people can say that they love what they do – I feel very fortunate to have chosen a career that I truly love and have a passion for. People have said that my Mom and I must be crazy to work together everyday, but she and I have a very special relationship. I respect her work ethic and the skills that she had taught me from so many years of experience.

I also love the environment at our salon. We are blessed to work with so many talented and creative people. Leading our team and watching them grow in their own careers is very fulfilling. Taking our salon to the next level in business, customer service and education is my ultimate goal."

Wendie Grew up in the Tri-cities and then Clarkston – her family originally came from the valley. She has been with the salon for eight years, and a been a stylist for six of those years.

Sundie moved with her family from Kennewick to Clarkston, WA at the age of two. The family came to the LC Valley to be near local relatives, and Sundie grew up in Clarkston.

Sundie specializes in customer service and is a recent addition to the Swiss Salon staff.

Kathy grew up in the LC Valley, having moved here with her parents from Oregon. She has been a stylist for 27 years, and has been at Swiss Salon for 26 of those years.
